A visual introduction to Halvtrak

Watch a video for the lead track from the Finnish producer’s forthcoming debut on Don’t Be Afraid. 

Announced as the latest addition to the ever flourishing DBA family, little information has been forthcoming on Halvtrak, an unheralded producer from the Southern Finnish city of Tampere with an intriguing penchant for Max Headroom style press shots. Regardless, his creative talents seemingly extend beyond production, with Halvtrak himself responsible for producing the video to “Finding Yourself,” the lead track from the upcoming Dust Under Bridges 12″. Coming across as something of a ghost town, footage of Tampere in the dead of night is interspersed with some quite disturbing imagery and the coldness of the visual treatment offers marked contrast with the warmth of the production itself.
