Jamal Moss returns to I.B.M. moniker for the Dark Acid series

One of the lesser spotted aliases of the Mathematics boss is dusted down for the third Dark Acid release from Clan Destine Traxx – stream in full here.

Founded as the flagship series for the Clan Destine Traxx offshoot of Glaswegian hub Clan Destine Records, the Dark Acid releases have thus far brought us excellent music from both producers we know and love (Torn Hawk, Tuff Sherm) and producers we are happy to discover (Ron Hardly and Tropics Of Capricorn). The upcoming third edition maintains this approach with Jamal Moss the established name amidst contributions from Atlanta based TWINS, Shanghai resident Tzu Sing and local talent Tract.

“Sexually Broken (Instrumental Version)” represents the first time Jamal Moss has appeared under the Insane Black Man alias since an appearance on the excellent Nation compilation The Modern Electronic Element Serie 2 and sounds like the remnants of “Clear” by Cybotron mangled beyond recognition and forcefed through a battered old 303 on the cusp of full-on malfunction.
