Virgo Rising! forge links between Chicago and Malmö for third release

Familiarise yourselves with the label’s third release which comes from the Chicago-based producer Mike Broers.

Established by the 909-loving Jonas Asp earlier this year, the Malmö-based Virgo Rising! label outlook thus far has been focused soley on promoting homegrown talent, issuing two releases from the veteran Swedish producer Patrik Sjeren with the first b/w a fine Rivet remix. Switching their focus to the under the radar Mike Broers for the third release is a pleasant surprise, with the Arcade Ltd. label founder refreshingly showing little concern for paying homage to the classic tropes of his hometown’s House sound on the Freex EP. As you can hear from the clips streaming below, Broers brandishes a high octane sound built on 909 beats, 303 acid and moog clanks and the 12-inch also features a remix of the title cut from flesh smelling Swede MRSK.
