Shadow Dancer duel with Photonz again on UTTU

Stream a killer Photonz remix of Shadow Dancer, lifted from the Mancunian pair’s forthcoming debut proper on Unknown To The Unknown.

Best known for their work on Alex Ridha’s Boys Noize imprint, Mancunian brothers Al and Paul Farrier are nonetheless walking encyclopedias of dance music history (their epic 2009 mix for the Palms Out blog still gets the occasional airing around here) and the forthcoming Hydrate EP for Unknown To The Unknown marks the latest twist in DJ Haus’ wonderfully unpredictable label. Last year Shadow Dancer remixed Photonz as part of the Hurt Me Hurt Me release on UTTTU and now the favour has been returned with the newly transplanted to South London duo (pictured above) reworking Shadow Dancer’s title track in a manner that feels like techno being sucked backwards down a vacuum tube.
