Aquarian Foundation returns with Language of the Hand
The Vancouver outfit return to the Mood Hut label for their next release.
Aquarian Foundation made their vinyl debut earlier this year on London-based Going Good Records with the excellent Silent Teaching EP, showcasing an almost new age take on the lo-fi, analogue hardware driven sound, covering house, astral jazz and even skittish footwork-esque sounds across the EP’s five tracks.
Entitled Language Of The Hand, the group’s next release will arrive on the label of Vancouver collective Mood Hut. Aquarian Foundation are already an established part of the Mood Hut collective, having issued two cassettes on the label last year; this five-track EP sees them slotting in nicely alongside the label’s first vinyl release from Cloudface, whose Devonian Garden EP captured some similarly deep and murky moods – get a taste for the EP with the short previews below.
Mood Hut will release Language Of The Hand on 12-inch vinyl on September 15.
