Vercetti Technicolour gets spooked by Xander Harris

Watch an all too appropriate video for Xander Harris’ remix of Vercetti Technicolour’s “Inferno”, taken from the third Giallo Disco release.

Launched collectively by the Berlin-based Antoni Maiovvi and Vercetti Technicolour, a like minded Greek artist based in Vienna, Giallo Disco was founded out of a mutual love for the shlocky disco music that permeated the soundtracks of the cult 1970s Italian Giallo cinema of Argento, Fulci et al. Their two releases to date successfully mined the crowd funding approach, and after a brief period of quiet Giallo Disco return with news of a third release, which sees Vercetti Technicolur flying solo for the first time on the label with the upcoming Bay Of Blood EP.

Set for release in the very near future on a limited run of 300 12″s, the Bay Of Blood EP features a quartet of “unique VHS grained, voodoo possessed electronic disco” productions from Vercetti and is complemented by a remix from Not Not Fun’s own Giallo obsessive Xander Harris. A video for this latter track can be viewed below – every bit a match for Giallo Disco’s previous visual endeavours – whilst the EP can be streamed in full here.
