Pegasus Heat debut on Episodes

The fifth Episodes drop comes from Chicago Skyway and Hakim Murphy’s newly formed Pegasus Heat project – stream clips here.

Since its foundation last year, the vinyl-only Episodes operation has become an outlet for house at its rawest and most forward leaning from label boss Ike Release and his Chicago-based contemporaries. It was through Episodes that the Innerspace Halflife project Release shares with Hakim Murphy gained notable momentum, with the pair subsequently gracing the likes of MOS, Skudge White, Latency and Syncrophone with their own idiosyncratic take on what constitutes modern day Chicago house. Now Murphy adds another project to his arsenal in the shape of Pegasus Heat with Sean ‘Chicago Skyway’ Hernadez on the upcoming XXX Elote Y Paleta Porn EP for Episodes, which is described as “3 tracks of beating, acidic, purely analog jam-outs” and comes with a comparatively more pared-down remix from label boss Ike Release.
