Bad Mums Records launches with DJ Ford Foster
DJ Ford Foster will be the first to release on new UK label Bad Mums Records.
Said to be inspired by a Vice article on a misbehaving group of American mothers called the Bad Mums Club, Bad Mums Records is a new London imprint readying their take on raspy and eclectic dancefloor tackle. DJ Ford Foster offers a rough and ghetto-tinged debut four-track EP for the fledging label, which follows up Foster’s Function Trax Vol. 2 album released on Opal Tapes earlier this year .
Bad Mums Records’ aesthetic and productions will lean toward the “raw end of things”, with the label boss telling Juno Plus, “I want to create a catalogue that reflects the eclectic styles I like to hear in a set really, essentially for the dancefloor though, no matter how obscure.” A release date for DJ Ford Foster’s debut is yet to be scheduled, but you can preview the forthcoming EP below.
