Erdbeerschnitzel next on Delsin’s house series
Erdbeerschnitzel returns to the EP format with a new release on Delsin’s house focused series entitled Cushion.
After a streak of EPs on 3rd Strike Records in 2010 and 2011, Erdbeerschnitzel (real name Tim Keiling) dedicated 2012 to the release of his debut album Tender Leaf on Hamburg label Mirau. The Cushion EP will be Erdbeerschnitzel’s first tangible release since that album, which sees the Bonn-raised producer deliver three more cuts of colourfully disjointed house music in the vein of 2011’s excellent Always Remain EP.
Erdbeerschnitzel is the sixth artist to grace Delsin’s house-focused catalogue number; since beginning with Gerry Read last year, it has seen varied releases from Trevor Deep Jr, Soul 223 and French producer Low Jack, making Erdbeerschnitzel’s choppy, bustling style a logical addition to the canon. You can listen to the brilliant lead cut below.
Delsin will release Cushion by Erdbeerschnitzel on 12” on June 10.
