Next Mister Saturday Night release announced

Mister Saturday Night label continues its fully fledged commitment to uncovering New York based talent with their next release coming from Alex Burkat.

Much like Anthony Naples, Burkat might not seem a familiar name at first glance but he does have some production pedigree having previously released music under the Rx and Pfunkt names. A seasoned video editor, Burkat counts dancing and an obsession for the hot sauce Sriracha amongst his other interests and is apparently a regular attendee at the Mr Saturday Night parties.

Burkat was inspired to send them “Shower Scene” after spending the night dancing at Brooklyn venue 12 Turned 13. The string-filled production seems perfectly suited to the dancefloor at Mister Saturday Night and Carter and Harkin loved the track so much they decided to produce their own dreamier take which also features on the release – you may recall this version closing the RA podcast Mister Saturday Night did last Autumn. Burkat also contributes the way-off-kilter “Ammadomyownthing” which sounds quite reminiscent of Dani Plessow gone main room.

Mister Saturday Night will release Shower Scene by Alex Burkat on March 11.
