The Asphodells get psychedelic on Beglammered video

Dancing bears, persevering camels and meditative dogs all feature on the video for the lead track from the new album by The Asphodells.

Due to drop early next month, the superbly titled Ruled By Passion, Destroyed By Lust has Andrew ” don’t call me Alan Moore” Weatherall and Timothy J. Fairplay presenting a concise long player of their shared shared interests and inspirations. Visual artist Nikos Tzerbinos does a fine job of matching the Ptolemaic motorik drive of the album’s opening gambit “Beglammered” with all manner of saturated, recycled footage of the aforementioned animals and ancient Egyptian symbolism.
