Pearson Sound returns to Hessle Audio with Clutch
Hessle Audio have slipped out details of their next release, a three track EP from label co-owner Pearson Sound.
The EP will lead with “Clutch”, a mechanical slice of dystopian bass premiered on the recent Hessle Audio show on Rinse FM, which will be joined by two other tracks, “Underdog” and “Piston”. An accompanying press release states the triple hitter will see him “stripping back many of the sonic characteristics of his recent music and looking towards the broken, cyclical rhythms of instrumental grime”.
It’s the first Pearson Sound release for the label since 2010’s Blanked, though he’s been anything but quiet since with the Boiler Room hit “Unknown” released on his own self-titled imprint back in March, and the recent collaboration with Boddika and Joy Orbison which flew out of stores in record time.
Hessle Audio will release HES022 on September 10, 2012.
