Second Time Around for Andrés

More good news from Detroit: Andrés is preparing a second release on his La Vida label, entitled Second Time Around, which features fellow Detroit icon Amp Dog Fiddler.

The news follows promptly from the release of Andrés blink and you’ll miss it Things You Like 12″ for the M1 Sessions imprint and “Skate This Way,” the lead track from the forthcoming release finds the sometime Mahogani artist in the sort of string laden, effervescent house form which characterised his end of the year track contender “New For U.”

Alongside this, the twelve inch features reworked versions of tracks that have formerly featured on Andrés releases for the KDJ imprint, with “Hart Plaza” originally appearing in untitled form on the 2001 Untitled EP, we’re not quite sure what release the title track was originally released on however. Both these new versions feature Amp Dog Fiddler, adding some of his trademark dexterous keys under the Amp Dog Knight name.

La Vida will release Second Time Round by Andrés in September.
