Electronic Explorations ready mammoth compilation
Electronic Explorations, the long running and far reaching podcast overseen by Rob Booth, has announced details of a quite colossal digital compilation featuring the likes of AnD, Kowton, Machinedrum and Perc.
Founded back in 2007, the Electronic Explorations podcast has garnered a cult listenership over the subsequent period, with a broad focus on both established artists and relative newcomers across the spectrum of techno, dubstep and what is now referred to as bass music. 2562, Cosmin TRG, Kowton, FaltyDL and Pearson Sound (when he was Ramadanman) are among those who got early coverage on the podcast which recently veered past its 200th episode.
Set for release on July 1 via the Electronic Explorations bandcamp for the very cheap price of £5, the eponymous compilation reads like a perfect representation of the sounds that feature on the podcast, with artists from labels such as Planet Mu, Punch Drunk, Deep Medi, Black Acre, Ninja Tune and Tectonic among those contributing exclusive material to the 58 track set.
Electronic Explorations will release Electronic Explorations on July 1, 2012 (via Sonic Router).
