50 Weapons prep Addison Locked Groove

Not content with unveiling a forthcoming twelve inch from Ostgut don Marcel Dettmann, 50 Weapons today rolled out a shiny new website that contains a welcome surprise in the shape of a forthcoming highly limited, bespoke seven inch from Swamp81 mainstay Addison Groove.

Set to ship from sister label Monkeytown’s online store on the 11th day of the 11th month in the 11th year of this century (aka 11/11/11), the cannily titled Addison Locked Groove is a one sided release featuring a track some 1 minute and 11 seconds in length which ends on a locked groove. Being one sided, the B Side features no music; rather intriguingly it instead holds a personal text message from Mr Groove himself, and the seven inch is housed in a hand numbered stamped sleeve.

Naturally only 111 copies have been pressed, and further enticement is offered in the shape of an accompanying white Canvas t-shirt. It is available to pre-order now, for you guessed it right price of €11.11 from the Monkeytown shop.
