PMR ready Javeon McCarthy release

Fledgling label PMR Records have announced full details of their second release featuring rising vocalist Javeon McCarthy – with Julio Bashmore at the knobs for Love Without A Heart.

This partnership will be familiar to fans of the Bashmore canon, with the duo collaborating earlier this year on Bashmore’s “Father Father”. Naturally in contrast to the vintage Chi Town vibes of that Futureboogie release, “Love Without A Heart” is all about showcasing McCarthy’s talent as a vocalist with Bashmore crafting a burning future soul backing that simmers brilliantly beneath. Serving further notice of their penchant for handpicking the underground’s finest, Brey from Die Barbie Musik Kollektiv steps up to give the track a more percussive club lean.

PMR of course launched in fine fashion with Julio Bashmore’s Everyone Needs A Theme Tune EP which impressed us right down to the lacquer used on the record sleeve. Future PMR releases include original material from Night Slugs boss man L-Vis 1990 as well as rising talent 2InchPunch.

PMR Records will release Love Without A Heart by Javeon McCarthy on June 13 on vinyl and digital formats.
