Kassem Mosse debuts on Doldrums

Kassem ‘The Boss’ Mosse will make his debut on Joy Orbison‘s Doldrums imprint with a remix of Braiden’s “The Alps”, due for release next week.

A video appeared on the Doldrums YouTube page today teasing us with 2 minutes and 53 seconds of an outrageously throbbing house-techno-whatever club jam, leaving us barely able to wait until the release date of Monday, November 22: four entire days.

The German producer played a Doldrums showcase in London back in June alongside Omar S and Joy Orb, and has been widely embraced by the UK bass community, in no small part thanks to his raw, off kilter style of house and techno.

His remix of “Strictly” by Commix was arguably the finest effort on a star studded release, and he also released a 12″ on Instra:mental’s increasingly influential Non Plus label earlier this year to considerable acclaim.

In a recent interview with Bristol’s Bass Music Blog, Mosse said he was “surprised and happy” at the adulation he receives from the UK underground.
