Watch: Shit Robot – “Take Em Up”

DFA chanteuse Nancy Whang is the star of the new video for Shit Robot’s excellent “Take Em Up”, one of the highlights from the producer’s debut album.

Directed and produced by the impressively named Eoghan Kidney, the video sees Nancy – well, lots of Nancy’s in fact – walking around the backstreets of New York.

The distinctly Human League vibe of the synth work, combined with Nancy’s trademark vocals makes for a nice slo-mo 80s style disco jaunt. “Take Em Up” will be released as a single on December 6, with remixes from Mark E and Marcus Marr.
