RBMA: Frank De Wulf pays homage to his B Sides
Red Bull Music Academy’s radio show is worth checking out this week with Belgian New Beat pioneer Frank De Wulf at the controls.
De Wulf has his place in Dance Music history thanks to the track “Acid Rock” produced under his Rhythm Device moniker on Music Man, which has become one of the classics of the New Beat genre. He found further fame with the B Sides series, again on Music Man, which lead to a successful career of DJing alongside the likes of Joey Beltram and Sven Vath across the globe. His penchant for raw thumping techno has also seen him remix the likes of Model 500, The Orb and Jam & Spoon.
Having been asked by RBMA to compile a mix, De Wulf opted to a selection of seminal tracks from his back catalogue which will please the ears of fans of that vintage 90s R & S sound.
