Caribou, Mount Kimbie to play Offset
Caribou and Mount Kimbie have all been added to the lineup for this year’s Offset festival.
Both acts have been in hot demand in 2010, with Caribou (aka London based Canadian Dan Snaith) touring with his excellent live band following the release of his Swim LP earlier in the year.
Mount Kimbie, meanwhile, have just dropped their debut album Crooks & Lovers on Scuba’s Hotflush imprint (it’s essential listening – read our review here).
Connan Mockasin, Banjo or Freakout and Art Brut are among the other names announced, and will join the likes of cult NYC post punkers Liquid Liquid, Brooklyn’s arty duo Telepathe and legendary Krautrock group (and Eno collaborators) Cluster.
The festival will take place on the weekend of September 4-5 in Hainault Forest, just outside London. More details here.
