Brian Eno teams up with Warp

Legendary producer Brian Eno is set to release material on seminal imprint Warp Records, in what will surely be one of the most eagerly anticipated records of 2010.

Nothing else has been officially revealed about the project yet, although rumour has it a full album is ready for release later this year. You can sign up to a mailing list at Brian Eno’s website which promises more updates as they emerge.

The move signals something of a move back underground for Eno, who polarised opinion among fans by working with big name acts like Coldplay and U2 in recent times. However there’s little doubt that a significant chunk of Warp’s roster have  been influenced by the electronic music pioneer in some way.
