Bot’Ox unveil video for “Overdrive”

Bot’ox enlist director Christophe Sahr to add some va va voom to the video for their frenetic new single “Overdrive” which drops next week on I’ m A Cliche.

“Overdrive” is typically unique fare from the Bot’ox duo of Cosmo Vitelli and Julien Briffaz – all up tempo drums, mad synths and freaked out melodies, and the accompanying video seems to expose the murky world of autobahn drag racing (and what looks like something more sinister) in mainland Europe.

As previously mentioned on these here pages, Metro Area don Morgan Geist, French newcomers Logo and Welcome Stranger (aka Rub N Tug’s Thomas Bullock) add some extra flavour with some contrasting and rather splendid remixes.

Despite previous assertions of a Bot’ox album soundtracking our summer, Vitelli and Briffaz are now set to release what should be a highly anticipated long player in October on I’m A Cliche.
