This week at Juno

Moodymann, Flying Lotus, DJ Nature – it’s been all about the big underground cats this week at Juno.

As expected, the new EP from Kenny Dixon Jr is totally dope, with the Detroit legend dropping five new tracks on Ol’ Dirty Vinyl – check it out here.

But, let’s be honest, the week has belonged to Mr Steven Ellison, with the man known as Flying Lotus releasing his long awaited Cosmogramma album. It’s utterly breathtaking. Slipping into our disco shoes, the new Golf Channel 12”s were very hot, with the veteran DJ Nature releasing Win, Lose & Dance and This Side Of Heaven.

Over at Juno Download, the deservedly hyped Digital Mystikz remix of Grace Jones hit the mp3 realm after causing so much commotion on Record Store Day. There was also a killer remix package of the Neurotic Drum Band, some leftfield beats from DFRNT and a wonderful single from British born, Berlin based wondergirl Emika.
