James Murphy to play East Village

LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy will DJ at Shoreditch hotspot East Village next Thursday, February 18.

Murphy has been holed up in LA recording the new LCD Soundsystem album which is due out in March, and scoring new Noah Baumbach film.

Supporting on the night will be Skull Juice – those who follow these pages with a hawkish eye will know we featured one half of the duo, Alex Egan, as our recent one to watch.

LCD are set to tour the UK in April and May, with tickets still available for all shows except the opener at London’s Brixton Academy.
