Tensnake scoops DJhistory gong

The beard-stroking music boffins over at DJhistory have compiled their top 50 releases from 2009.

The vote, which was cast by members of the DJhistory forum, selected DJs and of course Messrs Brewster and Broughton, named Tensnake’s “Holding Back My Love/In The End (I Want To Cry)” as their number one.

Titled the Furtive 50, it encompasses the best underground dance music from the past 12 months, from Floating Points to Precious System, via Azari & III and Walter Jones.

The top 10 were:
