New Uffie single due in January

Ed Banger darling and sneaker fetishist Uffie is back, with her new single “MC’s Can Kiss” due out in January.

The announcement follows swift on the heels of the re-release of 2006 hit “Pop The Glock”, with brand new remixes from Ellen Allien, Felix Da Housecat and Mirwais.

“MCs Can Kiss” was produced by French oddball Mr Oizo, and is being touted as “an old skool soundclash of heavy beats and sharp rhymes, a ‘Pass The Dutchie’ for the modern era”. Remixes come from some new kids on the block, Zombie Disco Squad and Starkey.

Her debut album Sex, Dreams & Denim Jeans (due in Spring 2010), features a collaboration with Pharrell Williams as well as French dance luminaries Feadz, Mr Oizo, SebastiAn.
