Koova aligns with Central Processing Unit

One third of London Modular Alliance will debut on the Sheffield electro label with This Is Not My Future – preview here.

Currently seen making waves as part of London Modular Alliance alongside Simon Lynch and Phil Ventre, Gavin Pykerman also moonlights under the Koova alias making purist electro with intermittent transmissions for Abstract Forms and the under-rated Brokntoys in his discography. Having only released the Empty Spaces 12″ for the latter earlier this year, news that Pykerman is set to grace Sheffield’s Central Processing Unit with some Koova material is most welcome given his less is more approach thus far. A union that makes total sense given the appreciation of snapping, classicist electro shared by artist and label, Koova’s This Is Not My Future can be previewed below and sounds just as full-bodied as you’d expect from someone so heavily involved in modular synths.
