Beats In Space and Tornado Wallace meet again

Watch a video for Kangaroo Ground, the Australian producer’s newly released record for Tim Sweeney’s label.

As Tornado Wallace, recent years have seen “Australia’s one-man storm of tropical funk”, Lewie Day cultivate the enviable position of having his music distributed yo-yo style by two of the USA’s best independent labels in Andrew Hogge’s ESP Institute and Tim Sweeny’s Beats In Space. After really impressing with last year’s Circadia for ESP, the Tornado has now made his way back to Sweeney’s label for the newly released Kangaroo Ground/Ferntree Gully. A sensory expolsion of a visual single for “Kangaroo Ground”, brought to life by Palmbomen II man Kai Hugo, can be sunk into below and the track’s brisk, acid-flecked nature reveals yet another intriguing development in the Tornado Wallace sound.
