The two low-key producers will make their label debuts on TLR’s imprint next month.
Although DJ TLR’s Crème Organization imprint has never been one to do things by halves from its base in The Hague, the label’s release schedule for 2014 is already shaping up to be one of its most interesting to date. A few of this year’s highlights released or forthcoming include electro-tinged house from Myriadd, some deep jams from the criminally under-appreciated Alex Israel and a double EP of Detroit-inspired sounds from rising Dallas-based producer TX Connect, and news now arrives of two more intriguing names soon to enter the fold.
Jorge Velez (pictured above) should need little introduction thanks to a recent spate of abstract hardware techno and ambient music on L.I.E.S. and Rush Hour’s MMT Tapes compilation, and makes for a logical addition to the Crème discography with the Aventuras EP. Judging by the below soundcloud preview, the five tracks look to be some of his most straight-up dancefloor material to date. Hamburg-based Yør on the other hand is a much lesser-known quantity, having remained stubbornly under the radar despite a trio of excellent records melding deep house with dub techno textures on the Purple Maze label, and a recent turn on Uncanny Valley’s shtum sister label. His first Crème appearance is a five-track EP called Lack Of Beeing, and judging by the preview below, is some of his noisiest, most robust techno yet.
Crème Organization will release Lack Of Beeing by Yør on June 9, and the Aventuras 12″ by Jorge Velez to follow on June 23.
Lack Of Beeing tracklisting:
1. Lack Of Being
3. Chant D’Ombres
5. Magic 8-Ball
