Permanent Vacation demand a third refund

The German label have revealed Willie Burns, Axel Boman and Achterbahn D’Amour will anchor their third If This Is House I Want My Money Back compilation.

Since 2006, Permanent Vacation have released a continual stream of records from a wide array of artists, accommodating everyone from Azari & III, Tensnake and Woolfy, to others like Tevo Howard, Todd Terje, John Talabot and DMX Krew. What best exemplifies the label’s tastes though is their infrequent If This Is House I Want My Money Back compilation series that have so far included music from Jacob Korn, Neville Watson, a fresh-faced Hunee, Pional and Beautiful Swimmers. The inaugural volume was worth it alone for Dixon’s edit of Precious System’s “The Voice From Planet Love”, a track the loved Berliner help immortalise when he combined it with Ben Klock’s “In A While” to stunning effect in his 2009 Innervisions mix CD Temporary Secretary.

It was revealed today that a third installment of If This Is House I Want My Money Back is due for a release in May, and as Resident Advisor report, this volume features accomplished names like Willie Burns, Axel Boman, Mano Le Tough and Locked Groove. Others producers to make the grade include the white label-kissing HNNY, New York’s Octo Octa, Just Another Beat’s Kim Brown and the Achterbahn D’Amour collaboration between Iron Curtis and Jürgen Albert. The compilation will be released across CD and digital formats with a vinyl sampler said to follow.

Permanent Vacation will release If This Is House, I Want My Money Back III on May 9th.
