PreSonus announce StudioLive 16.0.2 digital mixer

US audio and recording manufacturer PreSonus this week revealed its new digital mixer, the 16.0.2.

Although PreSonus is well known for its high performance digital mixers, the StudioLive 16.0.2 fits into the more affordable end of their product range.

The 16 channel mixer with an integrated 16 x 16 firewire audio interface includes features such as high headroom, 32-bit floating point processing, 13 XMAX mic preamps and 24-bit, 48 kHz digital converters with 118 dB dynamic range.

The processing section provides pan, phase reverse, high-pass filter, compressor, limiter, downward expander and 3-band semi-parametric EQ to each channel, plus a 31-band graphic EQ on the main bus. In addition to this, the 16.0.2  also has a pair of fully programmable stereo 32-bit effects processors which include reverb and delay that can be assigned to dedicated FX buses. LED metering is super clear, and the product also offers mixer save/recall and channel-strip save/recall/copy/paste.

It ships with the PreSonus Capture 1.1 recording software for Mac and PC, plus Studio One workstation control software which features unlimited track count and a full complement of PreSonus native effects plug-ins. It can also be controlled via 5 PIN DIN MIDI or remotely via wireless network through an iPad, Mac or PC laptop.

The PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 will be released on June 15, and will cost £1149.
