Secretsundaze label relaunch with Brawther

London types James Priestly and Giles Smith will celebrate 10 years of secretsundaze by re-launching the record label wing of their empire, kicking off with a 12″ from Parisian house producer Brawther.

The three-track EP, due for release in May, comes replete with a remix from Hotflush prodigy George FitzGerald.

It’s been three years since the last release on the secretsundaze imprint, and in that time Messrs Priestly and Smith have busied themselves by taking their legendary parties beyond UK shores and launching a DJ booking agency (known as the Secret Agency) that now boasts the likes of Keith Worthy, Patrice Scott, Jay Shepheard, Wbeeza and Brawther in its stable.

Last month Juno Plus outed Brawther as the man behind the hugely popular Paris Underground Trax 12″ – check out the full interview here. We have a sneaking suspicious the EP’s title is a sly nod to another legendary UK party collective – Nottingham’s DIY – which served as an inspiration for Brawther to fall hopelessly in love with house music.

We’re told this is the first of a slew of 12″s we can expect from the label this year, all of which focus on the up and coming names signed to the Secret Agency.

The Do It Yourself EP will be released on May 16 in both vinyl and digital format.

Tracklisting:

A1. Spaceman Funk [Deep Club mix]
