Sammy Dee launches Ultrastretch

Perlon stalwart Sammy Dee will launch his new vinyl-only imprint this month with a release from UK producer Matthew Burton.

The announcement constitutes mouth watering news for fans of Sammy (one half of house duo Pantytec), who has been a regular fixture on Berlin’s club scene for more than a decade and currently co-hosts the raucous Get Perlonized parties at the Panorama Bar alongside Zip and other members of the Perlon clan.

Meanwhile Birmingham born, London based Burton will debut with the “Who Loves You” 12 inch. He caught Juno Plus ears in 2010 with a stunningly deep contribution to Jay Shepheard’s fledgling Retrofit imprint.

The press release informs us the ethos behind Ultrastretch is to embrace Berlin’s underground art and music scene: “Throughout his career, Sammy has met a number of talented artists who stretch across many genres and territories,” it reads.

“Today he celebrates their success and continues to explore his musical heritage through collaboration under the elasticity of Ultrastretch.”
