Trax back on track?

Legendary Chicago House label Trax is on the verge of returning to the music fold, and they have Canadian duo Azari & III on their radar.

Juno Plus has heard on the grapevine that the label is in talks with the highly touted Azari & III, who shot to prominence in 2009 with back-to-back hits “Hungry For The Power” and “Reckless With Your Love”.

Trax celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, but has not released any new material for nearly four years. Closes source to the label told Juno Plus: “They are working hard to get some brand new music to their fans”.

Trax was an important outlet for house music in its early days, releasing many classics including Jamie Principle & Frankie Knuckles’s “Your Love.”, “No Way Back” by Adonis, Larry Heard’s “Can You Feel It,” and “Move Your Body” by Marshall Jefferson.
