Boys Noize produces Spank Rock album, launches sub-label
Alex Ridha is a busy boy. Having just finished producing the brand new Chilly Gonzales album, the man known to sweaty dancing throngs as Boys Noize has revealed that he is launcing a sub-label and will be on knob fiddling duties for the upcoming Spank Rock LP.
Ridha announced the news on his Twitter page recently, which seems to suggest his production skills are very much in demand following his exemplary display of subtlety on Gonzales’ Ivory Tower LP.
Meanwhile his Boys Noize Records imprint has launched a digital sub-label, to be called BNR Trax. In a recent interview with the Kool Kids blog, Ridha said the new label would have a focus on all things techno, with the first release coming from Electric Rescue due out in September.
The second and third releases will be from Jan Driver and Dutch producer Benny Rodrigues.
