Premiere: 6SISS shares promo for leftfield electro cruncher ‘BOTS’

Track is one of four on the Belgian producer’s new EP

6SISS, the Belgian producer of wonderfully wayward electro-slanted sonic experiments, celebrates the imminent release of a typically uncompromising four track EP by sharing the video for its title track, ‘BOTS’.

The EP, released by DJ Stingray 313‘s US label Micron Audio, explores the concept of artificial intelligence and machine learning through sound design and rhythmic structures, with each track recalling the intrusive nature of the many kinds of bots found on the net – be they chatbots, spambots, web crawlers, or social bots.

6SISS aka Peter Adriaenssens, has previously taken his raw, addictive sound to labels like R&S, Deviate, Leyla and HEX.

The video was made by Jean Phillipe Loridan, a plasticien, artiste multimedia & Vj, and aims to create an emotional exploration of our technological environment via real-time navigation in a three-dimensional universe, “building a kaleidoscopic augmented reality that varies between starkness and saturation.”
