Label founder Bustin’ Loose celebrates the big 5-0
The Disco Express first began as a monthly loft party in March 2017, hosting the globe’s biggest names in house and disco, before evolving into a full-fledged record label and event series in 2020.
Specialising in nu-disco and soulful dance music that blends the best of 70s glamour and bang up to date dancefloor vibes, it’s perhaps no surprise its high quality releases and edits have garnered support from the likes of Nightmares On Wax, Purple Disco Machine, The Blessed Madonna, Crazy P, TSHA, Folamour, Dan Shake, Groove Armada, Sarah Story (Radio 1) and Basement Jaxx.
The South London label is about to celebrate its 50th release in style with a jam packed six tracker featuring Giman & Chic_ago, Magnolia, Luke Delite, Generoco, Foot Loose and Sean Den, and to help commemorate this landmark moment we invited founder Bustin’ Loose to lay down some label highlights and other delights via the twin Technics, to mark the moment.
