A new firmware update improves the digital side of Moog’s superb semi-modular synth.
One of our favourite synths, the Moog Matriarch, has received a major firmware update. You might not associate firmware updates with analogue synths like the semi-modular Matriarch, but the hidden digital features of the synth architecture have been improved substantially. You can now adjust keyboard velocity response curves, the pitch wheel can be used to modulate the keyboard CV output, and there are various smaller updates to clocking, CV/gate outputs and octave transposition. Owners can update via their Moog account. Moog have also updated their YouTube playlist of Matriarch demo videos; check them out above.
The Moog Matriarch is in stock now, priced at £1,883.31.
