New Pioneer XDJ-RX3 borrows features from the brand’s flagship CDJs
The all-in-one system features the brand’s largest ever touchscreen.
Newly announced by Pioneer, the third-generation XDJ-RX3 is the brand’s new flagship 2-channel DJ system. It’s a big step up from the existing XDJ-RX2, with features borrowed from the flagship CDJ-3000 media players and DJM-900NXS2 mixer. There’s a huge 10.1-inch touchscreen (the biggest ever on a Pioneer all-in-one system), new Beat FX, Sound Color FX and Release FX, plus neat features like Playlist Banks and Touch Preview to browse and audition tracks, and a countdown timer to give feedback on time until user-defined events in tracks.
The RX3 is expected to arrive next month, with an RRP of £1,699. You can see it in action above.
