Massive MPC update adds dozens of new features
The Akai MPC 2.10 software update includes new instruments, effects and unlocked audio routing features.
In an update Akai are calling their most significant firmware release ever, the MPC series has been revamped. MPC 2.10 updates everything from basic functionality to virtual instruments, including randomisation, auto-tune and class-compliant audio interface capabilities, meaning the MPCs can route and record up to 32 simultaneous tracks of audio. New instruments include Mellotron and ARP Odyssey emulations, while new effects include the Diode Clipper distortion and Stutter.
