Gated distortion promises next-level HM-2-inspired chainsaw tones.

Combining high-gain distortion with a built-in VCA-based noise gate, the new KMA Guardian of the Wurm promises is an evolution of the brand’s excellent Wurm distortion with the addition of an ultra-fast VCA-based noise gate. There are clear echoes of the legendary Boss Heavy Metal HM-2 in the sound, but the Guardian of the Wurm is much more than just a clone. Features including a four-band active EQ, wet/dry Blend control and built-in effects loop bring the pedal right up to date. You can hear it in action in the video above.
