New from SolidGoldFX, the EM-III Multi-Head Octave Echo is a feature-packed all-rounder which expands on the concept of the brand’s previous flagship delay, the Electron. With the EM-III, you get multi-tapped digital delay voiced for a tape-inspired analogue sound. There’s also the option to apply delay sounds generated an octave below the main input.
A Colour knob gives you control over the timbre, while the tap tempo and bypass switches double up as Warp and Glitch controls for self-oscillation and snapping tape effects. The end result is a deeply versatile unit that can do clean and clear delays as well as gnarly modulated madness.
