Manchester open-air venue Square One announces opening party

New venue opens doors on July 3

A new, Manchester-based open-air venue, Square One, has announced its grand opening and programme for this summer, beginning Saturday July 3.

Located in an transformed old car park a short walk away from Manchester Piccadilly Station, Square One is situated in the centre of Manchester,will invite an array of local and international DJs to play, aiming to become a hotspot for clubbing in the city.

The new destination has now invited several established party planners including La Discotheque, Zutekh and Jika Jika to come and play between now and August 15, bringing an array of DJs including Dan Shake, Partiboi69, Luigi Madonna, Hector Oaks and more.

The first La Discotheque party at Square One will feature Dan Shake with special guests Secretsundaze, Mafalda and Sharples & Laura Jackson.

Additionally, MVSON Collective will be appearing in August with their XL MVSON event showcase.

A statement by Square One said: “Manchester is our home. This one is for the dancers, a new venue with no-nonsense. Let’s make up for the lost memories and come together, a good and proper open-air affair. Summer is coming and the dance floor is ready.”
