The new version of the V10 features longer faders with a custom response curve.
Following on from the release of the flagship DJM-V10 mixer earlier this year, Pioneer DJ have revealed a new version without a crossfader. In its place, each of the six channel faders has been replaced by a 60mm fader, 15mm longer than those found on the standard model.
Pioneer say that the fader curve has been designed to take advantage of the longer throw. Apparently, this “enables you to make fine adjustments to the volume of each channel and precisely control the output sound”.
There’s no official confirmation as yet, but the modular construction of the V10 suggests that the original model could be upgraded with the new long-fader panel.
The Pioneer DJM-V10-LF will be available soon, priced at £3,089. Scroll down to see the standard version in action or click here for our full review of the DJM-V10.
