ALM Busy Circuits has released a new Eurorack system. The System Coupe is designed to work as a standalone setup, while integrating perfectly with other modular gear.
Housed in an 84HP enclosure with built-in power supply, the system includes ALM classics such as the Squid Salmple sampler module, Pamela’s New Workout modulation source and Quaid Megaslope. Intriguingly, it also introduces a couple of new modules, currently exclusive to the system: the Milton is a utility module carrying out mixing, attenuation and mult duties, while the MCF is a new analogue multi-mode filter.
ALM describe it as a “modern modular groove box”, pointing out that it’s been designed to function in a number of different ways, from an introduction to modular synthesis through to a portable instrument for travel and touring.
