Fred P is a Modern Architect

A new album from the US house producer will arrive next month as the first release on his new Energy of Sound label. 

This year has been kind to fans of Fred Peterkin with the New York-based producer responsible for a number of releases across his various creative aliases. In June, Peterkin added a new project to his discography with FP-Oner, committing the first in a planned trilogy of albums to vinyl for Mule Musiq, whilst 2015 has also seen music surface under his Black Jazz Consortium, FP197 and Anomaly aliases. In his role as Soul People Music label boss, Peterkin has helped facilitate the release of records by Nick Lapien and Jose ‘J.C.’ Cabrera among others.

It has now been revealed the Soul People Music operation will expand further with a new offshoot called Energy of Sound which will launch with another album from Peterkin under his familiar Fred P name. Entitled Modern Architect, the six-track album was recorded at Berlin’s Dark Flow Studios earlier this year with Peterkin describing it as a “varied selection of emotive vibes as it is focused for use on the dance floor.” Previews of the album can be heard below ahead of release next month.

Energy Of Sound will release Modern Architect by Fred P on November 16.
