Sandrow M returns to Uncanny Valley
The Dresden staple returns to the label with his second full release entitled Kuiper Belt Rose.
Stefan Menzel may not be one of the most recognisable names within the Uncanny Valley roster but dig a little deeper and you’ll find he plays an influential role in the label. As Sandrow M, Menzel has to date put out the single Prayervan EP, contributed tracks to several Uncanny Valley compilations and various artist EPs before appearing on Jacob Korn’s 2012 album You & Me, while also forming the Blade Runner-referencing C-Beams project with fellow UV artist Break SL. News has now surfaced Menzel will return to Uncanny Valley later this month to present his second full release on the label, the four-track Kuiper Belt Rose EP.
Sandrow M’s follow up Uncanny Valley record follows Credit 00’s Party Beats four-track, Citizen Funk’s label debut, music by CVBox & Micha Freier, and the debut album Heart by Joel Alter of Kontra-Musik’s Jonsson/Alter fame. B-side cut “Miss You Again”, originally written for a modern dance piece, is a highlight of the EP with its subtle Jean Michel Jarre tones while the rest of the house and electro-tipped EP can be previewed below.
Uncanny Valley will release Kuiper Belt Rose by Sandrow M on July 24.
