Unthank look down under again with Booshank release

The Firecracker Recordings network resurfaces in 2013 with a tantalising release schedule lead by an Unthank release from Australian producer Booshank – get a glimpse of what to expect here.

Announced last night, the fifth Unthank release keeps the label’s focus on Australia following that great Inkswel drop towards the end of 2012, with the Melbourne scene staple Booshank making a fine addition on the basis of the below clips, veering from loose gargling acid to dusty melodic house that would make Legowelt proud. Alongside this, the much promised Vakula album, You’ve Never Been To Konotop, is set for release imminently as well as a Lord Of The Isles 12″ for Shevchenko. There are even whispers of a new Linkwood LP nearing completion.
