Listen: Four Tet – Jupiters

You may have heard the hushed radio tones of Gilles Peterson delicately premiering some new Four Tet material over the course of the Bank Holiday in the shape of “Ocaras”, and now you can hear the track that complements it.

The towering UK producer has just uploaded “Jupiter”, the A Side from the 15th release on his own Text imprint, to his Soundcloud account, with the track operating on a more expansive plain to the focused hypnotic house stylings of “Ocaras”.

Drawing out a huge widescreen synth intro, a brief silence signals the onset of a smudged out sub heavy shuffle embellished with vocal yearns and percolating textures. Together both tracks encapsulate everything you’d want from a Four Tet 12″.
