Listen: Pal + One Eyed Jacks Mixtape

One Eyed Jacks, the fledgling label set up by Portuguese duo Photonz, have announced details of their next release with compatriot Pal + at the helm for the three track EP The Forest which features a typically raw remix from The Snuff Crew.

A chance to peek into the musical DNA of Pal +, described as “a skilled soundsmith in love with vintage synths who dabbles in non-formulaic, banging music that escapes lazy categorization and retromania”, is offered via this quite excellent mixtape which includes some classic Fulton produced MU, a dash of Legowelt as well as standards from ESG, Willie Hutch  and Kenny Larkin.
